buntu

Hari-hari menulis seronok.

Sebenarnya, rasanya tak perlu la nak berkira sangat bila ketua bagi banyak kerja adhoc. Cuma terkilan sedikit, kerja semasa pun tak bersentuh bila nak buat kerja adhoc ni. Bila nak buat priority list, kerja A priority untuk bos A, kerja B  priority untuk boss B, dan kerja C priority untuk boss C. Aiyaa...banyaknye boss aku!Yang mana satu nak ikut ini? Kalau abandon satu, dia boleh sabo dalam LNPT nanti. Dah pernah kena dulu, sebelum naik pangkat. Sampai sekarang rasa tak layak nak apply HLP. Nasib.

Cuma, kesian tengok muka suami tu bila dia dah tarik muka bila mula buka fail lepas makan malam.Bila dah jenuh basuh baju, kemas, dah puas hati dengan kondisi rumah, cepat -cepat datang duduk di sebelah suami. hajatnya nak temankan dia menonton tv, tetapi  akhirnya khusyuk mengadap fail-fail kerja sambil sekali sekala merenung dinding kosong.

akhir-akhir ini terlalu banyak persoalan diajukan tentang biasiswa oleh pembaca-pembaca di akhbar. kalau satu hari aku perlu mengerah otak untuk buat ulasan akhbar tentang penawaran , esoknya ada pula aduan tentang surat pekeliling jpa yang tidak jelas, sudahla aku perlu buat analisis untuk penerangan kepada perkara itu, dan yang terbaru, isu pengiktirafan kursus dan ijazah bagi melayakkan seseorang itu dilantik ke perkhidmatan awam. Aku cuma ada beberapa jam untuk mencari maklumat dari desk officer yang barangkali sudah 2 tahun melakukan kerja-kerja itu. Yang paling mencabar, mencari permasalahan dan bagi aku yang menulis, untuk memberi suggestion and recommendation.

Satu hari salah seorang boss datang ke mejaku, sambil memberi komen tentang ulasan yang disediakan,

"you see, sometimes we cannot afford to be nasty to  public,no matter how wrong the person is.

and how harsh they wrote to us".

Dalam hati, mungkin ada hikmah aku  belajar linguistik di universiti, I tend to understand better and be more alert in choosing the words.

hari ini, komen pembaca tersiar di akhbar lagi. macam biasa, kerja utk SKT dah menimbun,belum bersentuh lagi.

Nampaknya kena juga buat ulasan lagi.

Balinese getaway..

3fa32c1db3c65674c221a5853a5754bf.jpgLast Saturday hubby took me to Ole-Ole Bali. My second visit, but the first one for him.

Initially we wanted to try Tarbush, but later we found out that it will be officially open on April 8th, so we were few days early. Wendy is far more congested, and I thought I need a more peaceful place to dine on a cosy weekend together.We could always fight for queue at JCo Donuts afterwards.

So there we were, as we stepped into the restaurant, hubby already began to analyze the deco.I think it would be a fantastic place for a first date  or to meet an old pal.

We were spoilt with choices honestly. The moment the waitress handed the menu. my hubby said choosing the meal would be difficult for him. Well here, you can choose whether you want to choose the typical Baliness cuisine, or western delights. But which ever choice you made, I can assure you you get Balinese taste in it.

It was good to feel you're away from the hustle bustle of the city for a while. We choose to dine the conventional way, sat side by side on plush pillows and took time to scan the menu while I did a little preview of what I tried before here and what he should try.

So finally he settled for Rib Eyed steak, well done with the richest flavour or heavily marinated in turmeric and various herbs. Served with salad, with taste more like acar to me with a slice of watermelon and the winning brown sauce. Brown sauce tu memang sedap!

previously I tried Seafood Platter during my first visit, so this time I tried Salmon Steak pulak. I have a strong inclination towards seafood these days. I suggest you to go for seafood platter, you could try everything right from the prawns, squids and dory fish deep fried. I think they include the brown sauce in almost every menu.

So for the dessert, I tried rambutan jelly.d9df9f64d79cd8dff8e3541f98cc290d.jpg  I like the fact that this dessert comprises of cincau, rambutan and a hint of ginger. The mint leaves is for a garnishing, but if you soaked it long enough, you will have the coolest drink, but in a very sensationally refeshing but  not the brain freezing way.

Hubby tried ice blended pulut hitam. Sedap jugak. he suggested that we tried to make our own pulut jagung ice blended next time. Agak-agak boleh rasa sedap macam ni jugak ke?

Overall, I think we're quite happy with the service. End up paying RM77.00 for meal for two. Takpe la..for a special day ...jarang dapat spend quality time fine dining dengan hubby!
